Bris Rockfeil was appointed the new co-chairman of the OSCE Minsk Group from France. This is reported on the French government website.
According to the report, Rockfee changed in this post Stephen Wisconti, who worked as an intermediary from October 2016.
Before the new appointment, Rockfeil held the post of France’s ambassador to Panama, Uzbekistan, was a lawcraft in Rio de Janeiro. In 2000 he was a political adviser in the embassies of France in Russia and Turkey.
In July of this year, Russia changed its co-chair in the OSCE Minsk Group: Instead of Igor Popov, Igor Kovaev took this post.
