The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan today held a meeting of Minister Jayhun Bayramov and the new co-chairman of the OSCE Minsk Group from the Russian Federation Igor Khovaev.
As reported by HaqQin.Az in the press service of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, Jeyhun Bayramov congratulated Khovaev with a new appointment. In turn, Igor Kovaev said that his visit to Azerbaijan is familiarized.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov informed Igor Khovaev about the situation in the region, measures taken by Azerbaijan in a post-conflict stage, the possibility of normalizing relations with Armenia based on the principles of international law, as well as the fact that the revhanishing position of Armenia has no prospects and the importance of use by parties created opportunities for cooperation.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also states that the parties exchanged views on the implementation of the provisions arising from the trilateral statement, and confidence-building measures.
