Ukraine will not be able to defend itself from Iranian ballistic missiles FateH and Zolfaghar if Russia buys them from the manufacturer. This was stated by the Ukrainian media by the official representative of the country’s Air Force Command Colonel Yuri Ignat.
“Russia is still ready to receive FATEH and Zolfaghar missiles from Iran. These are ballistic missiles. We have no means to defeat them,” Ignat said, noting the importance of providing Ukraine with Patriot PAC-3 and SAMP-T systems .
“The main of the threats that hangs in the air and can still be realized, of course, Iranian missiles. Russia has not left its intentions from Iran and Kostykadze drones and, in a certain way, rockets that were previously announced – Fateh and Zolfaghar. This is ballistics, we have no means against ballistics today … There is a threat, it has not disappeared and we must react to it, ”said Ignat.
