The commander of the Turkish Naval Forces Admiral Erjuent Tatlyoglu met with the commander of the Qatar Navy, Major General Abdullah Hassan al-Sulaiti.
“After the meeting, the commanders visited the TCG Kuşadası patrol ship and held a joint inspection,” the Turkish Ministry of National Defense said in a social network.
According to this information, the Turkish armed forces continue to operate in the region in order to support the development of the defense capability of the Qatari Armed Forces and contribute to the regional and global world through joint training and exercises.
“As part of the agreement signed on April 28, 2016, the TCG Kuşadası and TCG Kumkale patrol ships of the Turkish Navy from October 1, 2024 are serving in the region,” the ministry said.
