On December 28, the authorized investigation from the Center for the Investigation and Prevention of the Aviation Accidents of Brazil (Cenipa), as well as representatives of the Interstate Aviation Committee, arrived in the Kazakhstan city of Aktau. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Transport of Kazakhstan.
A meeting was held at the headquarters of the investigation commission at which joint tasks were indicated at the site of the aviation accident.
The Center for the Investigation and Prevention of the Aviation Accidents of Brazil (Cenipa) is an authorized body to investigate aviation accidents in civil aviation.

Ambraer 190 Azerbaijani Azal Ambraer aircraft, which executed a flight along the Baku-Groze route, crashed near the Kazakhstan city of Aktau on December 25. On board the aircraft were 67 people: five crew members and 62 passengers.
As a result of the crash, 38 people died, 29 survived.
