The Soyuz-2.1A launch vehicle brought into orbit a transport cargo ship “Progress MS-26”, Roscosmos said.
As Russian media write, the flight to the International Space Station (ISS) will take, as expected, about two days. Filling with the “Star” module is scheduled for 09:12 Moscow time, February 17, Saturday.
The Soyuz-2.1A launch vehicle with the ship’s ship MS-26 started at 06:25 Moscow time from the Baikonur cosmodrome. This was the first launch of the Progress MS ship this year, as well as the first launch from the Baikonur Cosmodrome.
“Progress MS-26” will deliver 2,518 kg of cargo to the ISS, including 580 kg of refueling, 420 liters of drinking water, 40 kg of compressed nitrogen in cylinders.
