In the Baku Court of Grave Crimes postponed the trial in the criminal case of the former chief of the Department of Foreign Affairs of Farhad Mollazade and the official of the consular governance Salim Alizade.
As it became known to HaqQin.az, the lawyer Farhad Mollazade Kyandar Nasibov infected with coronavirus. In a conversation with the correspondent HAQQIN.AZ, Kyandar Nasibov also confirmed this information.
“I began to experience health problems and today passed the test for coronavirus. The result was positive. Currently I feel fine,” he said.
Court meeting in the case of former high-ranking Foreign Ministers postponed until September 22.
Note that the defendants were detained as a result of an operation conducted by the State Security Service. They were charged under articles 179.4 (assignment in particularly large size), 308 (abuse of official powers) of the Criminal Code. In relation to their Sabail district court, a preventive measure was elected in the form of detention. After some time, the court let them go under house arrest.
