Russian parliamentarians are preparing to make a joint decision on the suspension of the work of the delegation of the Russian Federation in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE). “I support the proposal of the Committee on International Affairs together with the State Duma to prepare everything necessary in order to make a joint decision on the suspension of the activities of our national delegation in the OSCE PA,” she said at a meeting of the Federation Council.
Matvienko also emphasized that the act, when Romania refused to issue visas to all members of the Russian delegation, became a “line” and Russia does not intend to endure such an attitude.
She added that from such a policy of the Assembly it will “lose only PA OSCE”, Russia will continue to work at international parliamentary sites.
