Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe on Thursday, March 17, decided to suspend relations with Belarus, reports the press service of the CE.
It is noted that the Council of Europe will continue to “strengthen relations with the Belarusian civil society and the opposition in exile, paying special attention to the Belarusian youth, independent media and human rights defenders.”
On the eve, the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe excluded Russia from the organization.
