The head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andrei Ermak, during his visit to Turkey on Sunday, discussed the support of the Ukrainian army with the assistant to the US President for National Security Jake Sullivan and the official representative of Turkish President Ibrahim Kalyn. This was reported on the website of the office of the President of Ukraine.
“The interlocutors discussed the continuation of the assistance of the Ukrainian army, the relevant priority needs of the defense forces of Ukraine and the importance of the operational obtaining such support and its buildup,” the report said.
Ermak also held separate meetings with Kalyn and Sullivan in bilateral format, the message says.
The meeting participants discussed the situation in the combat zone and coordinating measures to respond to the last actions of Russia, the office said. Ermak announced the need to receive Ukraine’s international security guarantees before Kyiv gaining membership in NATO, according to a message.
