The court in Yerevan ceased to prosecute on the former Armenian President Robert Kocharyan, the former CSTO General Secretary General Yuri Khachaturov, the former Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanmen, the former Deputy Prime Minister Armen Gevorkyan under Article 300.1 of the Criminal Code of Armenia.
According to the news of Armenia, this decision was published by Judge Anna Danibekyan. Criminal prosecution is discontinued on the basis of the lack of a crime.
On March 26, the Constitutional Court of Armenia Following the consideration of the appeal of Robert Kocharyan and the court of first instance published a final part of the decision, recognizing Article 300.1 of the Criminal Code of Article 78 and 79 of the Constitution. The decision of the COP is not subject to the final and appeal.
