Court freed property of late ex-head of Agstafa from confiscation

A cassation protest was considered for a court decision regarding the former head of the executive authority of AGSTAFA Nizameddin Guliyev and his deputy Ramiz Tatarov, as well as complaints of the defense.

According to haqqın.az, in the Supreme Court, chaired by Judge Tair Kyazimov, a decision of the appeal was changed.

The court granted the prosecutor’s protest in connection with the release of property from the confiscation of 600 thousand manat owned by Guliev.

The case was returned to the Court of Appeal to revise the property part.

Ramiza Tatarov, while the deadline was reduced to 6 years.

Note that the Ganja Court of Crime sentenced Ramiz Tatarov to 8 years and 6 months in prison. By the decision of the Ganjin Court of Appeal, Tatarov was charged under Article 313 (abuse of authority) of the Criminal Code. The former head of the Akstafin district, Nizameddin Guliev, who was in prison, was sentenced to 9 years in prison. Due to the fact that Guliev died in imprisonment, the criminal case was terminated without justifying grounds. The arrest on his property was removed.
