The Criminal Court of Ankara issued an order to detain the leader of the Danish ultra -right party “Hard Course” by Rasmus Paludan.
Earlier, the Prosecutor General’s Office of Turkey began an investigation against the Paludan in connection with the burning of the Qur’an in front of the Turkish Embassy in Stockholm January 21.
The extremist is charged with a public insult to the religious values accepted by part of the population. “
as part of the investigation, the Prosecutor General’s Office applied to the court with a request for the detention of the Paludan “to testify”.
The court granted the petition.
