The Tbilisi City Court rejected the defense of the ex-president of Georgia Mikhail Saakashvili for his release from the imprisonment for health reasons.
The corresponding decision was voiced by Judge George Arevadze at a meeting, which was broadcast by local television channels.
“Do not satisfy the petition of the lawyer Mikhail Saakashvili Shalva Khachapuridze to release Mikhail Saakashvili from the execution of the sentence or postponement of the sentence,” Arevadze said.
