585 new cases of coronavirus infection were registered in Armenia per day. This was reported at the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of the country.
In total, on the morning of March 16, the country registered 179,287 infected with coronavirus. In fact, 8469 persons are currently being treated (their number increased by 279 per day). 166702 people recovered (292 in the last 24 hours), 3277 patients died (12 in the last 24 hours).
Another 2 citizens with coronavirus have died, as the authorities put it, “due to other diseases.” The total number of such cases is 839. This brings the total number of deaths to 4116.
