vivo invented a smartphone with a built-in drone. This is reported by the Netherlands Edition Letsgodigital.
Patent was submitted to the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in December, but the application was published only in July. According to the document, the smartphone has a niche at the bottom of the hull in which the compact drone is located. The device consists of four propellers, a separate battery, two cameras, three infrared approximation sensors. Quadcopter transmits data to the phone via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
The description of the patent, the created device is intended for recording photos and video from height. It is assumed that the user will produce a quadrocopter to outward and use it to produce aerial photography. Flying device received two cameras, however, in a certain configuration, Drone has four cameras.
Journalists of the publication were skeptical to the invention of a similar type. According to experts, the quadrocopter has too compact dimensions and a small weight, so due to the strong wind its exploitation will be difficult at high altitude. At the same time, it is unknown whether Vivo will somehow develop their development.
