Crimean Tatars were accused of preparing seizure of power and sent to colony

The court in Rostov-on-Don sentenced the five Crimean Tatars accused of involvement of the Hizb Ut-Tahrir organization (prohibited in Russia). The human rights organization “Crimean Solidarity” said that they were given 13 years of the colony. This is reported by The Insider.

Alim Karimov, Seyran Murtaza, Erfan Osmanov, Gemil Gafarov and Servvet Gaziev were accused of participating in the activities of a terrorist organization (part 2 of Article 205.5 of the Criminal Code) and preparation for violent seizure of power (part 1 of Article 30, Article 278 of the Criminal Code).

“Crimean solidarity” notes that neither weapons nor explosives were found in these persons, but the case of the “secret witness” fell on the basis of the case.

Gaziev and Gafarov are elderly people suffering from many diseases. In the 60-year-old Gafarov, the disability of the group II, 62-year-old Gaziev transferred the microst of the tank to the pre-trial detention center, as a result, his speech was violated. He was refused hospitalization, notes the publication.

All five were detained in Crimea in March 2019 during searches at the Crimean Tatars.
