The proposal to deploy a mission of the organization of the collective security agreement (CSTO) on the border of Armenia and Azerbaijan remains relevant.
This was in an interview with the Russian media by the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
“The fact that the CSTO in this difficult situation has prepared a plan for the deployment of a peacekeeping operation (on the border of Armenia and Azerbaijan – Ed.), I think, was a very important achievement. This proposal is still on the table. And if our Armenian allies , friends are still interested in it, this mission can be expanded for literally one or two days, ”said Lavrov.
