CSTO Noted An Increase In Tension In Area Of Responsibility Of Organization

The actions of Ukrainian troops in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation contribute to the growth of tension in the area of ​​responsibility of the organization of the Collective Security Treaty (CSTO). This was stated at a briefing by the chief of the joint staff of the CSTO Andrei Serdyukov.

“The prevailing military-political situation in the East European Collective Security, which is characterized as the most difficult. The state has a significant impact on the state. An increase in tension contributes to the conduct of the Kyiv regime of unprecedented provocation in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation,” he said.

Serdyukov noted that “under the pretext of protection against the so -called threat from the East in the region, groups of the coalition forces of NATO forces are growing in the immediate vicinity of the Western borders” CSTO.

According to Serdyukov, “the situation in the Caucasian region remains no less complicated.”
