Military contingent of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) may always stay in Kazakhstan a week, Berik Wali said, press secretary of President Kasym-Zhomart Tokaeva.
According to him, foreign military forces will not remain in the republic after the normalization of the situation, reports Telegram-channel Sputnik Kazakhstan.
CSTO troops guard strategic and military facilities in Kazakhstan.
“Perhaps will stay one week …. none of the CSTO peacekeepers will remain in Kazakhstan after the completion of the counter-terrorist operation,” said Wali.
