The Czech Republic handed over the armed forces of Ukraine to reactive systems of volley fire (MLRS) RM-70, reports Rossiyskaya Gazeta. Kyiv received about 20 such cars. At the same time, the Czech Republic itself wrote off these RSOs back in 2011.
RM-70 is the Czechoslovak version of the Soviet RSO BM-21 Grad. The machine was developed in the late 1960s as a successor RM-51. The artillery part has 40 trunks of guide missiles. Shooting is carried out by uncontrollable reactive shells with a fragmentation-fluid head of the M-21of.
At different times, the RSOs was in service with the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, the GDR, Libya and Zimbabwe.
