Czech Republic wants to replace the Russian Federation in the UN Security Council. Prague has already presented the appropriate candidate for the UN. This is reported by Denik.cz.
Edition clarifies that the Czech Foreign Ministry has already been reported on the applying application.
“Czech Republic wants to replace Russia in the Council, we just filed a candidacy. Support for human rights is a priority for the Czech government,” the Foreign Ministry reported.
Recall, April 7, 24 States voted against the suspension of the Russian Council of Human Rights. This is the maximum level of punishment in the Human Rights Council – to exclude the state is impossible. However, as a result of this Russian Federation, all procedural rights with members of the Council were deprived of.
At the same time, Russia did not support Russia in voting.
