Nicknamed due to a kind of manner of investment “Czech Sphinx”, a 46-year-old businessman intends to buy 27 percent of the shares at the first stage, and then the whole club.
It is curious that a few months ago the same “West Ham” was going to purchase Azerbaijani businessman Nasib Piriev – the son of the “credit oligarch” by Nizami Pyriev and one of the main defendants of the “business of interbank”, on which, after the construction of a methanol plant in the Garadagsky district of Baku , Hanging debt 800 million dollars.
For the test package of shares of the famous British club, Pyrievis suggested the owners of $ 560 million. However, David Gold and David Sullivan – the main investors “West Hama”, heard, in all likelihood, about the sad credit history of the Azerbaijani businessman, they refused the transaction, saying that in the presence of Pyriev such the amount they do not believe.
In addition, according to Sullivan, who owns the controlling stake, the proposed price is significantly lower than the market value “West Ham”.
Piriev, who made a proposal as executive director of the investment company PAI Capital, indicated then that the company has the necessary amount and after signing the contract, the money will be immediately translated into the accounts of the club owners.
It is reported that after acquiring 27 percent of the club’s shares, Kretinsky intends to invest in the “West Ham” another 600 million pounds of sterling (about 900 million dollars), which is twice the price proposed by Nasiba Pyrievic.
