Bayractar in the fields of the 6th Energy and Climate Forum in Istanbul said that the Sakarya gas field has reached the level of daily production of 3.5 million cubic meters.
reminding that the target volume of production at the first stage at this field will amount to 10 million cubic meters per day, Bayractar said that exploration in the Black Sea continues to quickly pace.
indicating that the production continues in the Gabar under the ground oil exploration, the minister added: the production in the Gabar exceeded 37 thousand barrels of oil per day. Until the end of this month, 3 new wells will be opened. Our goal is to achieve 40 thousand barrels by the end of the month. After that, with 9 new wells in April, daily production in these wells will be about 1000 barrels. We will reach the bar of 50 thousand barrels until the first half of the year, and the goal is 100 thousand barrels per day until the end of 2024. “
Negotiations on the construction of a nuclear power plant in Sinop are underway with Russia and South Korea

As for the gas center, which will be created in Turkey, the minister said: “At the first stage, we, together with Gazprom, are working on the creation of a gas trading platform in the Istanbul financial center. We think the platform will begin to function as a short time.”
noting that work is also underway in tracia to combine gas storage and lines, the minister emphasized that in this context it is necessary to increase the bandwidth of Turkey and Bulgaria and Greece.
