The results of the “Project for Support for the Development of Beekeeping”, implemented in the Dashkessian district, with the support of the Small and Medium -Salm Business Development Agency (Kobi̇a), organized by the Azergold closed joint -stock company.
Azergold, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Azergold CJSC OGTYA MAMDOV, noted that the main mission of the project is to promote the development of the small business ecosystem in the region, where the company carries out work on extraction, promoting beekeeping as a type of eco -entrepreneurship and increasing the production of natural honey. He noted that such projects that the society regularly implement are supported by state programs of the socio-economic direction, to increase the welfare of the population. The Deputy Chairman emphasized that in the future, appropriate projects for the development of small and medium -sized enterprises in the region will also be implemented.
Kobia coordinator for the Ganja-Gazakh Economic District Anar Aliyev informed in detail about the favorable environment for organizational, legal and economic measures taken for the development of entrepreneurship in the region, entrepreneurial activity, the mechanism of effective financial support of business entities, spoke about the importance of these projects. He said that regular contacts will be supported with local farmers involved in trainings, and support will be continued.
Then the beekeepers operating in the villages of Chovdar, Bayan, Gushchu and Zeylik Dashkessian district, who took part in trainings and practical classes, were awarded certificates. As part of the event, nectarost acacias were planted in the Dashkessian district, and at the end of the day the farmers were presented as a gift from 120 bee families, completely equipped with the necessary equipment, and appropriate drugs.
Recall that in the framework of the initial stage of the project, members of the Azergold Corporate social responsibility committee organized a meeting with beekeepers in order to determine the possibility of local communities to benefit from the project, the problems of farms faced during beekeeping activities, and ways to eliminate them, as well as an exchange of views on initiatives.
At the next stage of the project, the consultants conducted three -day theoretical trainings and practical classes in the spring care of bees, the adult and breeding of the uterus. As part of the program, methodological booklets were distributed in order to increase awareness of the treatment and prevention of parasitic diseases, and the use of innovations in this area. At the same time, the expert of the Kobia Small and Medium Enterprise Development Center held a seminar for farmers for access to financial resources, organizing agricultural insurance. The trainings were given answers to the questions of farmers and a wide exchange of views was conducted.
