Day of our victory is celebrated in Sweden and Netherlands

In the Swedish city of Gothenburg, a festive event was held on November 8 – Victory Day. The event organized by the Coordination Council of the Azerbaijanis of Sweden and the Azerbaijan Society “Center for the Release of the Karabakh” with the support of the State Diaspora Committee, began with the execution of the State Anthem of Azerbaijan and the reverence of a minute of silence of the Memory of Shekhid, who gave life for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.

Member of the Coordination Council of the Azerbaijanis of Sweden, deputy from the region of Jenkoping Irad Aliyev Sedederberg and the head of the Azerbaijan Society “Center for the Release of Karabakh” Ulvia Najaf talked about the 44-day path to victory. They noted that the historical victory was obsessed with our armed forces under the leadership of the Supreme Commander Ilham Aliyev, the gold letters inscribed in the military history of the independent Azerbaijani state.

was particularly emphasized that during the Patriotic War and during the last year, Azerbaijanis, living in various countries of the world, including in Sweden, showing solidarity, conducted an active work aimed at bringing to the world community of historical realities.

The event continued the literary and artistic program.

Festive event dedicated to November 8 – Victory Day, and took place in the Dutch Rotterdam. The event with the participation of employees of the Azerbaijani Embassy in the Netherlands, representatives of Azerbaijani, Turkish and other communities were organized operating in the Netherlands, the Benelux Azerbaijanis Congress (BAC), with the support of the State Committee for Work with Diaspora.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan in the Netherlands Fikret Akhundov, Chairman of the Congress of Benelux Azerbaijanis Elsever Mammadov and others, speaking at the event, congratulated the people of Azerbaijan and the world Azerbaijanis on the Day of Victory. The event was shown a film Biz, ( “WE”), prepared by the Baku Media Center.

Our compatriots who distinguished themselves in the diaspora activities during World War II and in the past year, handed diplomas prepared by KAB.
