Debtors of Tagi Akhmedov received lot

The trial in the criminal case of Gul Mukhtarov and Sakhil Abushev, accused of fraud against the Deputy Director of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan (Nana), Professor Soltan Aliyeva, ended.

According to haqqın.az, at the trial chaired by Zeynal Agaev Mukhtarov, he was sentenced to 8 years and 6 months, Abushev – to 7 years and 6 months of imprisonment.

According to the indictment, Tagi Akhmedov through an employee of Nana, Professor Soltan Aliyeva allocated about 2 million manat Saadat Khalilov, Gul Mukhtarov and Sakhil Abeshova – they were engaged in the marble business. However, the entrepreneurs did not work out for entrepreneurs, and they could not pay off interests. Soltan Aliyev was recognized as a victim in a criminal case. Goula Mukhtarov worked as a detective in the Baku City Police Administration. Having quitting law enforcement agencies, he got a job as a bodyguard Jakhangir Gadzhiev, ex-head of the International Bank.

The criminal case of the hum of Mukhtarov and Sakhil Abushev was separated from the case of Saadat Khalilov. Khalilov was charged under article 178.3.2 (fraud committed with causing major damage) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan. The Baku court for serious crimes found him guilty and sentenced him to 9 years in prison.
