December: In Eurozone There Is Decrease In Investor Trust

Investor trust index in the eurozone in December fell sharply.

The Frankfurt company Sentix, which is engaged in market research, has unveiled data on the investigation index in the eurozone for December.

According to these numbers, the confidence index in the eurozone, which in November was minus 12.8 points, fell to minus 17.5 in December. Thus, the index fell to the lowest level since November last year.

The markets expected that the trust index in December would be about minus 12.4. It is noteworthy that the published data turned out to be significantly lower than market expectations.

The current situation also decreased from minus 21.5 to minus 28.5 points, which is the lowest value since November 2022.

The economic situation in the eurozone negatively affected economic weakness in one of the two largest countries of Germany, and political shocks in France.
