Rosatom has the powers, potential and opportunities to satisfy Turkey’s requirements in the construction of nuclear power plants in Sinop if the corresponding request comes from the Turkish side. About this “Anadolo” said the deputy chairman of the project company “Akkui-Nuclear” Anton Dedusenko.
Akkui NPPs are the first atomic energy project of Turkey, thanks to which Turkish specialists and engineers gained experience in building an nuclear installation, he said.
According to him, this experience will positively affect the development of infrastructure and employment in the region.
Dedusenko commented on the likelihood of the participation of the Russian side in the construction project of the second nuclear power plant in Turkish Sinop. “If the corresponding request comes from Turkey to our address as part of the NPP project in Sinop, then Rosatom has the powers, potential and opportunities for its satisfaction. In the Akkui project, it may be possible to apply a very important and valuable experience not only in construction areas, but also in the field of management, training of specialists and training on the second project, ”said the deputy chairman of Akkui -Nuclear.
Dedusenko assured that the Russian side is ready to offer the Turkish market non -nuclear products.
