China began to supply Russia up to 40% of defective chips after the start of the war in Ukraine and the cessation of official supplies due to sanctions, Russian media write.
According to sources, the marriage level increased from 2% to 40%. The reason was the establishment of import channels through unofficial suppliers who cost Western sanctions. Now the imported microcircuits do not fall under the guarantee or special control, they remain in the “gray zone”.
The presence of a problem was confirmed by the top manager of the large Russian manufacturer of electronics. He explained that the deficiency of components caused by a violation of logistics due to pandemia increased even more due to sanctions. Now manufacturers are forced to purchase components from non -authorized suppliers who are not responsible for the quality of products.
