In the Ganjin Court for serious crimes, the trial in the criminal case of the 32-year-old resident of the Tershil region, Agil Suleimanov, accused of killing his cousin.
According to haqqın.az, the cause of the murder was the family problems of his sister, the mother of two children who divorced her husband. The husband of a woman, Fahri, told Suleymanov about the correspondence of his wife with Tural Mustafaev – cousin of Suleimanov.
Agil Suleimanov decided to clarify this issue with Mustafaev. He considered that such a behavior of a cousin is a shame and humiliation for his family. Agil left Baku to Tertersky District, where he lived a tour. During the conversation with the cousin, Suleimanov demanded explanations from him. The conversation turned into conflict, and Suleimanov inflicted many blows to Mustafaev. The latter died at the site of the incident.
During the court hearing, Suleimanov said that his sister parted with her husband 8 months before the murder of Mustafaev and, together with the children, lived in the house with her parents. The reason for the divorce was the supposedly love connection of the sister with Mustafaev.
“Fahri told us about this several times, but we did not believe his words, and the sister assured that the” still child “was tour and there could be nothing between them,” said Suleimanov.
Suleimanov also said that about three months before the incident Fahri showed him the correspondence of his sister with Mustafaev. According to the accused, he went with Fakhri to Tertersky district, called Mustafaev to talk. During the conversation, he pushed Suleimanov, took out a knife from his pocket and hit the latter in his hand. According to Suleimanov, he took the knife from his cousin and inflicted several blows to his offender in the stomach and back. A woman who lived in the neighborhood came to the noise. Suleimanov asked her to call the police. He himself was hospitalized in the district hospital, because during the fight he was injured.
“No one pushed me to commit this crime. I did it myself to protect my name and clear my honor,” Suleimanov said.
The accused’s sister told the court that she had never been in a close relationship with Mustafaev, and the messages found on the phone did not send.
