Over the past week, the Turkish military neutralized 26 terrorists during operations in the north of Iraq and Syria. This was announced at a briefing by a spokeswoman for the Ministry of National Defense of Turkey Zeki Akturg.

Akturk added that since the beginning of the current year, Turkey’s security forces neutralized a total of 608 terrorists, of which 242 were in the north of Iraq and 366 in the north of Syria.
The representative of the Ministry of Defense said that in the areas of Metin, Zap, Hakurk, Gara and Kandil in the north of Iraq, 39 terrorists’ goals were destroyed as a result of airstrikes, including the shelters, shelters and caves used by militants.
