A visit to Azerbaijan, a parliamentary delegation of Slovakia, led by the speaker of the National Council of Slovakia, Boris Collar, visited the cultural capital of Azerbaijan, the city of Shushu. According to Haqqin.az in the press service of the Milli Majlis, the guests were accompanied by the deputy chairman of the parliament of Azerbaijan Adil Aliyev and other officials. As part of the trip, guests arrived at Fizuli International Airport and got acquainted with the technical capabilities of the airport. Then they visited the territory of the Fizulinsky district, which were cleaned from mines, where they told guests about the process of clearance of the district.
In Shusha, the Slovak delegation was met by the special representative of the president in the Shushinsky district Aydin Kerimov, who told guests about the history of the city, the Shushinsky fortress, his condition during the occupation and the construction works carried out here.
Slovak parliamentarians also examined the fortress walls of Shushi, familiarized themselves with restoration work carried out in the city. The guests were told in Jydyr Düzu about the heroic operation of the Azerbaijani military for the liberation of this city.
In Shusha, Boris Collar gave an interview to the Slovak television channel STV, where he spoke about the history of monuments shot by Armenians to famous figures of Azerbaijani culture Natavan, Uzeir Gadzhybeli, Bulbulu and shared with the opinion on the trip.
