Deputy Prime Minister Of Belarus: Turnover With Kyrgyzstan Is Almost $ 135 Million

Over the 9 months of this year, the turnover of Belarus and Kyrgyzstan grew by 14.1 percent and amounts to almost $ 135 million.

This is the Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Anatoly Sivak, at the 12th meeting of the intergovernmental Belarusian-Kyrgyz commission on trade and economic cooperation in Bishkek, Belarusian state media reports.

“Kyrgyzstan is an important trade and economic partner of Belarus in Central Asia. Our relations in all areas are developing in a positive channel. Belarus and Kyrgyzstan have general approaches to solving many urgent problems of our time, cooperate within the framework of international organizations. Our meetings in the format I have become regular, I want to note that our partnership continues to withstand strength tests: first Covid -19, then a difficult geopolitical situation and sanctions, ”said Anatoly Sivak.

According to him, despite the difficulties, a positive dynamics remains. “Over the 9 months of this year, the trade turnover of Belarus and Kyrgyzstan increased by 14.1 percent and amounts to almost $ 135 million. We expect that 2024 will be completed with good indicators,” said Deputy Prime Minister.

Belarus is ready to increase the supply of Belarusian agricultural, communal equipment, to develop industrial cooperation projects in other directions, Sivak said.

“The results of the implementation of our agreements are noticeable not only to professionals, but also to ordinary citizens. In your capital, you can see modern Belarusian trolleybuses and communal equipment, as well as Belarusian foods on store shelves. Industrial cooperation is developing. A good example shows a project to assemble elevator equipment .

According to him, there are good prospects for creating joint production of electrical products. “I hope that during the meeting we will discuss this in detail,” he added.
