In a 16 June 2021 virtual appearance at the spring gathering of NATO’s Consultation, Command and Control Board, NATO Deputy Secretary General Mircea Geoana said the NATO Summit was a “historic moment for the Alliance”.
Reviewing the Summit that took place on Monday, Mr Geoana said Allies agreed a set of proposals under the NATO 2030 reform agenda covering a range of issues, including the protection of critical infrastructure, promoting innovation, boosting partnerships, and making the fight against climate change an important task for NATO for the first time.
