Former President of South Korea, General RO TCE, died in Seoul at the age of 88, reported local media.
RO was elected president of the country in 1988 and held this post until 1993. During his board, the summer Olympic Games were held in the country, minimum salary, a curfew and veto for departure from the country were introduced. Nevertheless, during the 5-year term of the PO presidency, the number of political prisoners has increased in the country.
In 1993, RO TCE was arrested on charges of corruption and was convicted for 22 years. 5 years later, it was amnesty.
For reforms in their country and the desire to change the state system of RO TCE, I got the nickname “Korean Gorbachev”.
