The Minister of Health Thamur Musaev, who spoke at the meeting, emphasized that the development of nursing in Azerbaijan has a glorious story. According to him, graduates of the medical colleges of the republic, in which famous doctors and scientists worked at different times, made a valuable contribution to the development of domestic healthcare: “However, along with achievements there are unresolved problems, and our attention should be focused on the phased solution to these problems today For us the main thing is to improve the quality of medical education, ensuring its development and, most importantly, the training of qualified personnel. For this, the ministry is ready to provide any feasible assistance to medical colleges of the republic. “
In his speech, the minister noted that in Azerbaijan the necessary measures have been taken at the state level to strengthen the material and technical base of healthcare: “It is the result of this support that is that hundreds of medical facilities have been built and commissioned in the country.”
Having emphasized the importance of attracting medical workers, especially nurses, intensive training for the development of primary health care service, Teimur Musaev noted that on the initiative of the Ministry of Health, the World Health Organization will create an educational and symptium center: “The main goal of creating The simulation center is an increase in the level of competence of medical personnel, as well as the training of local specialists in this area. “
