Djibuti released a special brand in connection with destructive earthquakes on February 6 with epicenters in the Turkish province of Kazakhmanmarash.
Head of the Department of East and South Africa of the Turkish Foreign Ministry Elif Chomoglu Ulgen and Turkish Ambassador to Djibuti Jenk Uraz met with officials of Djibuti as part of the third round of political consultations between the two countries.
In an interview with Anadol, the Turkish Ambassador to Djibuti Uzra said that current projects of cooperation in the political, economic, cultural, consular and educational fields were discussed at the meeting, as well as a decision to develop relations in all directions.
According to him, the Turkish delegation was also adopted by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Djibuti Mahmud Ali Yusuf, who noted the significance of Turkey for the East African state.
The Minister of Communications Djibuti Ryddillahi Bakhdon handed the Turkish delegation a special postal brand prepared in memory of the victims of earthquakes in Turkey.
According to him, the income from the sale of the brand will be transferred to accounts open to the victims of the disaster in Turkey.
