In order to prevent price manipulations against the backdrop of the growth of demand for products before the New Year holidays, the State Service for Antimonopoly Supervision and Control over the Consumer Market under the Ministry of Economy turned to entrepreneurship subjects.
According to the civil service, it is noted that business entities should provide consumers with accurate and reliable information about the prices for the goods and services they offer. All goods put up for sale should be a clearly designed price tag with the name of the goods, its type, price, production date and shelf life.
“The requirement to pay for the amount differed from the consumers indicated on the product. For consumers’ deception relative to the size, weight, cost, as well as the consumer properties or quality of goods (services) by persons who sell goods or provide services to the population, individuals They are punished with a fine of 350-500 manat, officials – 1500-2000 manat, legal entities – 4000-6000 manat, ”the statement said.
In the civil service, “consumers are more attentive to” to entrepreneurs to prevent the occurrence of negative situations.
