Former Moldovan President Igor Dodon urged residents of the country to protest with the demand of the government’s resignation formed by the ruling party of action and solidarity (PDS).
“Life in the country will improve if this leadership goes away. The worst government over all the years of independence,” Dodon told the hundreds of their supporters who came to support him to the building of the appeal chamber.
The judges consider the request of lawyers to liberate the former head of state from house arrest. Dodon expressed the hope that the arrest would soon be removed and he will be able to “visit every city, every village, every district and continue the struggle against this political regime.”
Igor Dodon was detained at the end of May, accusing the state -owned enrichment, corruption, illegal financing of the party.
