Through the Estonian ports, Russian oil products are delivered to Saudi Arabia, reports ERR.
The exact data on the amount of Russian fuel oil, which passes through Estonia, and through which ports are delivered, no one knows. Since sanctions against Russian oil products will come into force only by the end of the year, such a business does not fall under the restrictions, and it can be carried out, including through Estonia, the publication notes.
In the Tallinn port, they told the publication that Russian vessels may not even go to the ports, pumping fuel into the sea. According to the port administration, somewhere on the papers it may indicate that the business goes through Estonia, but in reality the only connection can be only that the vessels act in the territorial waters of Estonia.
