Does Putin take leadership of war in Ukraine in his own hands?

Russian state news agencies reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin all yesterday spent the united headquarters of the military of troops involved in the “special operation” in Ukraine.

The Kremlin press service said that “the head of state got acquainted with the work of the headquarters, heard a report on his progress, and also held a meeting and individual meetings with the commanders.”

On Putin’s meeting at the headquarters, the Russian army inflicted another – ninth – massive blow to the infrastructure of Ukraine.

The Russian agency writes that “this is the first famous visit to the United Staff of the troops from the beginning of the war. Prior to this, the president did not show publicly that he was very involved in the leadership of a military operation.”

The publication also notes that in the photo and video next to Putin was the head of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov. Recently, rumors about his resignation appeared in telegram channels. The appearance of Gerasimov next to Putin can be considered a refutation of these rumors.

The Agency also notes that Putin has demonstrated his great involvement in the military operations in Ukraine against the backdrop of the recent statements of the head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny about the preparing new offensive of Russian troops.
