The dollar on the Moscow Exchange fell on Wednesday below 53 rubles, the American currency reached this indicator for the first time since June 2015.
According to 10.28 Moscow time, the dollar fell by 89 kopecks, reaching 52.89 rubles. The euro rate decreased by 1 ruble 21 kopecks – to 55.06 rubles, reports RT.
Yesterday, to close the trading on the Moscow Exchange, the dollar rate decreased to 53.77 rubles, the euro – to 56.26 rubles.
According to analysts, Freedom Finance, the fall in the currency may be related to the news about the restrictions on some banks of foreign exchange transfers within Russia.
