The city’s prosecutor’s office of Izmir issued a warrant for the detention of 60 people on suspicion of involvement in the prohibited organization of Feto, which local authorities accuse of trying to try in Turkey in July 2016, TRT television channel reports.
According to information, the operation to detain suspects is carried out in 21 provinces. Orders were issued in relation to the former and current military personnel, whose connections with the putschers were identified during the investigation of the activity of the Feto organization. A significant part of the wanted person was detained.
The operation to detain Feto’s supporters is also carried out by order of the Ankara prosecutor’s office. She issued a warrant for capturing 53 suspects, reports NTV.
