Italian Prime Minister Mario Draga said that during a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, he did not see hopes for peace, Medusa reports.
According to Drag, Putin said that Ukrainian ports were blocked through the fault of Kyiv, who allegedly mined approaches to them.
According to the Italian Prime Minister, the situation may be resolved by cleansing water and providing Russia with guarantees that the ports will not be attacked.
Putin, according to the Kremlin’s report, told Dragons that Russia is “ready to make its good contribution to overcoming the food crisis due to the export of grain and fertilizers, provided that politically motivated restrictions are removed from the West.”
