The trial of the 28-year-old Huseyn Mammadov, a resident of the Geranboy district, accused of smuggling, drug trafficking and storing firearms, was completed.
According to haqqin.az, Mammadov committed crimes together with an unnamed citizen of Iran (the conditional name “Deniz”). With Iranian, he agreed on the smuggling of drugs and psychotropic substances in large scale. At the direction of a citizen, Iran Mammadov took the “goods” from the Bilyasuvka district and brought it to his home.
On January 11, employees of the Main Drugs of Drugs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained Mamedov in the village of Masazir and found 325 grams of heroin and 240 grams of methamphetamine with him. The search continued in the house of a man where law enforcement officers found 6 kilograms of drugs, electronic scales, castet, firearms and cartridges.
The accused partially pleaded guilty of charges against him. In his testimony, he said that he had previously used drugs and was even arrested for it. Recently, according to Mammadov, it has not been going along with money, and therefore he decided to accept the proposal of the Iranian drug dealer Deniz, whom he met on social networks. Iranian promised to pay a man 500 manat if he delivered drugs to the addresses. Then they talked on WhatsApp.
Mammadov’s weapons found in the apartment, saying that he somehow found him in Terter and never used it.
The court sentenced Huseyn Mammadov to 13 years in prison.
