The trial in the criminal case of a 25-year-old resident Baku Ibrahim Aleskerov, accused of illegal circulation of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, ended.
According to Haqqin.az, Aleskerov was part of an organized criminal group engaged in the sale of drugs over the Internet and recruiting couriers. He was detained by employees of the Main Drugs for Combating Drugs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The investigation found that Aleskerov collaborated with a citizen of Iran, who called himself “Behzat.” During the detention, he found a kilogram of methamphetamine, and during a search in the apartment – another 8 kilograms of other drugs. Ayskerov did not admit his guilt. He stated that he did not sell anything and acquired drugs exclusively for himself. The accused claimed that the drugs found did not belong to him, with the exception of the acquired 10 grams of Cokos.
He was sentenced to 10 years in a general regime colony.
