The trial in the criminal case of 49-year-old Teimur Yolchuev, accused of hooliganism, threats and resistance to police officers, ended.
According to the Haqqin.az correspondent, on April 29 this year, a drunken Yolchuev attacked the tenant of one of the cafes along the road Mastag Lyaman Heydarov and the workers of this institution. Cursing obscenities and threatening a dagger, he extorted a thousand manat from the last. A raging man broke all the glasses in the institution.
Yolchuyev’s tricks quickly reported to the police. However, the man was not going to give up the guardians of order, injuring his dagger one of the arrived police officers and damaging the police car. The law enforcement officers had to use a service weapon – Yolchuev received a bullet in the leg.
In court, a man did not deny his guilt. Speaking of what was done, Yolchuyev referred to a failed life – his wife left him, and his son became a drug addict and is now sitting in prison. At the same time, the accused shallowed the accusations of extortion – according to him, the reason for the incident was the news of the closure of the cafe.
The victim Lyaman Heydarov, in turn, said that Yolchuev went to the cafe with the goal of extorting money:
“He all the time spoke about his son-narcomaniac and about the fact that he needed money. He waved a dagger, hit him with a pen and my employee. I called the police.”
At the same time, the victims said that they reconciled with the accused and have no complaints about him.
The police officer wounded by Yolchuev, by the name of Rustamov, said that the criminal was drunk, insane and did not want to give up. Therefore, I had to resort to service weapons.
