During Anti -government Demonstrations, 48 People Were Killed In Bangladesh

In Bangladesh, 48 people died during anti -government demonstrations organized in order to draw attention to violence during protests that began after the quotas in the state sector for families for independence war.

Anti -government demonstrations continue in the country after in previous weeks during the protests against the “decision on quotas in the state sector” more than 200 people were killed.

According to local media reports, during the resumed demonstrations, protesters calling for “not to pay taxes and not go to work”, attacked some public buildings and set fire to several cars.

The authorities reported that 48 people were killed and hundreds were injured during the police clashes with supporters of the ruling party of Avami league and protesters in different parts of the country.

– The “unlimited commandant hour” is declared in the capital

According to Dhaka Tribune, the Ministry of the Interior announced that an “unlimited commandant hour has been announced in Dacca and some regions, unless otherwise indicated.”

The government also announced a 3-day vacation in the country.

The commandant hour, which has been partially canceled from time to time, has operated in the country since the end of July.
