As a result of an armed attack on the border of Niger and Mali, at least 29 military personnel died.
According to the Ministry of Defense of Niger, army units returned from the anti -terrorist operation zone in the Tabadol area
were attacked.
According to preliminary data, 29 troops died as a result of the attack, two more were seriously injured. At the same time, it was possible to eliminate a large number of militants, the message is noted.
In connection with the incident, a three -day mourning is declared in Niger.
This attack has become the most bloody since the military seized power in the country.
